
Where is your shop?
We are based in Chichester, 45 North Street, Chichester, West Sussex, PO19 1NF. Follow the signs for the Festival Theatre, where there is a large car park. Walk through the subway towards the town and you will find us on the right hand side.
What are the shop opening times?
We are open from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday
What if I don’t want to order online?
We will be happy to take your order over the phone. You can call us on 01243 539909, Monday to Saturday 9 am to 5.30pm
Will I be charged for shipping?
For total orders under £100 to mainland UK we charge a shipping and handling fee depending on the weight of the parcel a maximum charge £5.00, for all orders over £100 delivery will be free of charge to mainland England, Wales and the Scottish lowlands.
If you are a school group customer we deliver the hired items to the school free of charge approx 7- 14 before the departure date of your trip.
What are “school specials”?
These are products sold at a discounted rate to school group customers. If your school is not one serviced by Meritz please contact us for further details on our school package.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We take the following credit/debit cards- Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta, Solo, Visa Electron and Wolrdpay. We also accept credit card payment over the phone and payment by cheque. If paying by cheque the goods will not be despatched until the funds have cleared. Normally 5 working days. All payments will be taken in GB Pound Stirling. Payment for hired clothing will be taken at point of booking.
How do you send your orders?
All orders will be delivered by Royal Mail or Parcel Force. While delivery times may vary, goods will normally be delivered within 5 working days. You may find it easier to give a work address. An alternative delivery address can be specified during the check out process.
What if an item is out of stock?
When we receive your order we will make sure to see if it is in stock before your credit card is charged. If an item is out of stock we will contact you and let you know how long it will take to arrive and if there are any alternatives that may be suitable for you. We may charge your card in advance if a product is to be ordered specially.
The product I received Looks different to the image on the website.
While every effort is made to ensure that products, prices and colours are correct on our website, we cannot be held responsible for any errors or product changes. All product images on our website are as accurate as possible, however due to the inconsistency of monitors and screens, colour tones and shades may not be exact to the product.
Do you have a Privacy Policy?
When you place an order we collect your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number and card information. We may record which products you are i nterested in and which products you purchase. We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site use enabling us to improve the structure and layout of the site. We do not hold your credit card details after an order is processed and hence you will be asked to supply these details every time that you place an order with us.
We may use this information to send you details or special offers relating to products that we feel you may be interested in. If you do not wish to receive this information please e-mail us on info@meritz.co.uk We do not disclose buyer's information to third parties.

When will my hire clothing be delivered?
Hire clothing is delivered to your school approximately 7-14 days before your departure, your ski trip leader will keep you informed.
What if my hire clothing doesn’t fit?
If you have any problems with your hire clothing please contact us without delay so that we can arrange replacements to be sent in plenty of time. Contact us on 01243 539909 or at info@meritz.co.uk
What do I do with my hire clothing after I have returned to the U.K?
Empty the pockets and return your hire clothing in a bag with your name on it to your ski trip leader without delay, unless you have been specifically told otherwise. PLEASE DO NOT WASH THE CLOTHING.
How long have I got to return my hire clothing?
We will collect hire clothing from your school, on the first Friday after you return to school. Your hired clothing MUST be at school, ready for collection, by this date.
What happens if I miss this date?
If you have not returned your hire clothing to the appropriate place by the time indicated you are then responsible for returning it to us at Chichester at your own expense. If you are posting the item(s) we recommend a proof of postage certificate be collected at the point of postage. Failure to return the clothing to us within 14 days of your return to the U.K. will result in an invoice being sent to you for the full retail value of the clothing as if brand new.
